How to publish/unpublish any website, page or blog post

Publishing your website, page or blog post makes it accessible for visitors.

How to publish/unpublish a PAGE


In the left sidebar, find the page you want to publish or unpublish and click the three dots next to the page name

Select "Settings” from the menu

In the Page settings window, toggle "Publish page" on or off depending on what you need. When the toggle is on, the page is live. Turn it off to unpublish and hide it from visitors:




Here you can set "Page url" (how your website page will be accessible for visitors. Set it blank and the page will become a homepage), "Title" and "Description".


How to publish/unpublish WEBSITE


To make a website published, you simply need to publish at least one page of the website (for ex. Home page) and then, as new pages are created, publish them.

To make website unpublished, all pages of the website should be unpublished. Otherwise, the website will stay in the 'published' status as long as at least one page is published.


How to publish/unpublish BLOG post


There are few ways to publish a blog post:

By using "Publish post" button:




In the left sidebar, find the post you want to publish, click the three dots next to its title, and select "Publish & Preview". This will publish the post and take you to its preview page instantly:


In the left sidebar, find the post you want to publish, click the three dots next to its title, and select "Settings". In the Blog page settings window, select "Public" for "Post visibility" parameter:




To unpublish a blog post:

In the left sidebar, find the post you want to publish, click the three dots next to its title, and select "Settings". In the Blog page settings window, select "Draft" for "Post visibility" parameter:







The "Direct URL" value for the post visibility parameter indicates that the post will be only accessed through a link. However, it will be not published on the blog's home page.

Unpublished websites, pages, or blog posts appear slightly lighter than published ones. If you hover over them, you’ll see a pop-up showing their status.
